The Repair Process
1. The Free Consultation Not every repair is a good candidate for restoration, and some things are simply beyond our workshop’s current capabilities. We offer free consultations to determine if we are the right fit for your needs. Email photos and a description of the damage to austin@goldenwestleather.com.
2. Evaluation & Pricing If the repair is possible, we will provide an estimate.

Base Repair Fee: $35

Plus: The cost of materials and labor hours.
Note: Repairs are, by nature, a restoration of a damaged item. While we are committed to doing our absolute best to make it look seamless, a repair may not always be "perfectly new," but it will be built to last.
3. Ship or Drop Off Once the estimate is approved, you can send your item to our workshop. We will confirm receipt and put your item in the repair queue.
4. Quality Restoration We apply the same "hard way" philosophy to repairs as we do to our custom builds—using premium threads, hardware, and techniques to ensure your item returns to you stronger than before.
What We Can Do:

Bag & Luggage Repair: Reattaching straps, fixing seams, and conditioning.

Hardware Replacement: Buckles, rivets, and snaps.

Straps & Handles: Custom-making replacement leather handles or shoulder straps.

Baseball/Softball Gloves: Full or partial re-lacing to bring the snap back to your glove.
What We Cannot Do:
To ensure the highest quality of work, we stay within our specialty. We do not offer the following services:

Resoling or internal repair of shoes and boots.

Upholstery or reupholstery of furniture (couches, chairs, etc.).
